Operating on the Norwegian Continental Shelf requires the highest standards forHSE frameworks and systems, and as a result the Company is already in compliance with international HSE standards.
HSE is a line management responsibility and reflected in all managerial functions of the Company. HSE management is a corporate priority and while the responsibility for implementing this policy rests with line managers, all others associated with the Aker Drilling Group and its operations are expected to be responsible for their actions, including those which may impact others.
HSE concerns and issues are openly discussed. It is Aker Drilling’s intension to foster openness and dialogue with the employees and the public, anticipate and respond to their concerns about hazards and impacts of operations, products, wastes or services including those of cross-border or global significance.
HSE issues and performance are presented to the society and our stakeholders in general. Aker Drilling will provide appropriate HSE information to the Board of Directors, shareholders, employees, the authorities and the public.
