Aker Kværner Subsea is supplying the "Clip riser", which represent a significant step in a direction of safer and more efficient running/retrieving of marine riser.
This design represents also a need for less personell at the exposed center of drillfloor during connection as well as reduced need for manual handling of heavy tools and machinery when performing a connection operation.
