H-6e Motions
  • Excellent heave characteristics for seastates with periods 5s-20s.
  • 99% of seastates on Haltenbanken have wave peak periods below 15.5s
  • Low heave motions for operational conditions a function of hull design and operational draft
  • Heave natural period similar to North Sea production platforms, e.g. Kristin located on Haltenbanken.
  • Heave motions in dominating seastates a critical parameter for operability of the rig. The H-6e has proven through analysis and model testing to have excellent characteristics for these periods.
